Florida Fun!

The beach, the cat, the princess dress, new Ruby slippers... So far, so fun in Florida!

...Olive having some Christmas fun down in Florida the past couple days. She sat (with skepticism) on Santa Clause's lap yesterday, did some light cooking and of course opened gifts this morning. Today is an "Open House" at Grandpa Harding's place, so there will be people stopping in all day to visit.

today was our friend molly's baby shower and this is what i made her...

... a fun little project for one of the sweetest lady's we know.

olive had a lot of fun too, between bowling, a bounce-house and the arcade...

... we can't wait to meet arlo!!

Dress up and Independance

Three seems to be the age of dress up and make believe, I love it! Olive is determined to pick out her own outfits, pack her own bag - filled with My Little Ponies, glass slippers and bracelets (the essentials), and be her own person. She asked for pink hair and loves to color "tattoos" on her arms. And now, after a fun-filled birthday, she has endless amounts of dress up supplies!

This is going to be a fun age.

Hello Kitty and The Birthday

Tomorrow Olive will celebrate her birthday at school, so I made these for her to bring in...




I have also been feverishly working on finishing Olive's dress for her birthday, but in my hurry to get it done I made some mistakes and now need to go back and fix them. Sadly, this means her dress will not be ready for her to wear on Friday. But hopefully soon.

I can't believe she is about to turn 3!!!

Trick-or-Treat

Olive had a great time trick-or-treating this year, almost as much fun as she had helping Brian hand out candy. Brian scared a bunch of kids...and Olive loved every second of it!
Olive also had a gnome turned elf by her side the night before Halloween, her new friend Vinnie. Lots of fun!

trick-or-treat was postponed from last night to tonight (trick-or-treat ON halloween, who would have thought)... in the mean time, the snow is freezing in to ice and the pellet stove is cranking. we skipped fall and went straight to winter. more pictures to come.
