side projects

i have been staying up late, and not to work on my senior thesis (like i should be), but instead to finish up a few projects. i finished bandana cowls for my sister and friend and then a mighty cute bandit raccoon and a baby bunting for a friend's shower... just in time for tomorrow.


i've made 6 bandana cowls now. i think it's time for a break. but a super cute and easy pattern!

i made this bunting for another friend last year. and the yarn was too soft to resist. both i had on hand, so made for an easy gift decision.

this raccoon is awesome! the pattern uses the magic loop method, which i still haven't learned, so i had to make some edits of my own, but i think it turned out alright. i'm excited to give it to my friend tomorrow!

all while i was finishing the super-bandit raccoon's cape, olive and her friend harlow were busy playing, cooking and snuggling.

now maybe i will actually focus on my thesis.
