heat wave and the sniffles

So summer officially ended a few days ago and since we've had heat wave. Great. All my summer clothes are packed away and my fall clothes are too warm for this weather. Maybe its the wacky weather but Olive is sick again. Just super congested. No fun. So, its been an "inside" day for the most part. Here is what we've done...




... between napping, cuddling on the couch or with Dylan, she's been enjoying her toy box. I've been taking pictures and Brian has been as well (but he's been doing it for homework and not in the house).

Olive is now calling herself "Olive". She used to call herself "La la", which we loved. She is also telling us all of the shapes and colors she knows, count to ten (with help) and she loves to sing her ABCs. Its amazing how big she's getting. Are all kids this smart, or just mine? She's also all about potty training! She uses it at least once a day. Maybe something only a parent gets excited about, cause we're both stoked!
