school started today. i'm taking my senior thesis course and a research and methodology course. both will keep me very busy. if that wasn't enough, i also thought it was a good idea to take on some night work in boston on thursdays. and then some where in there, after work, and between papers, i am hoping to get to spend some time with brian and olive... and maybe, just maybe knit a project here and there. brian heads back to school next week. it's his last semester (which means we WILL be throwing a big party for him come may). i will be done in august. then, believe it or not, we will actually live "normal" lives. just work. ideally brian will find a job that is monday - friday, days. which means, for once, we would be on the same schedule and actually get to see each other and even get to spend some time as a family! imagine that!?!
until then, i have been feverishly finishing up projects. olives little red riding hood is done (see previous post) and she loves it! i just knit up two bandana cowls, and am working on another one with this insane yarn my sister gave me. when i say insane, i mean its rough and untreated, but the color is beautiful. i'm hoping to condition it to soften it up, then block it. fingers crossed that it comes out okay and someone (probably my sister) will actually wear it.
heres what they look like... (one in progress not pictured)

a grey one made with cascade superwash (220), super warm

my mom gave me this beautiful yarn (100 % wool and OH SO SOFT) for christmas
and then i started knitting brian a tie... just for fun.

now, to find the time to finish the little projects of started and then complete my thesis in 8 weeks.... GO!
