lots and LOTS to do

we've been a busy bunch over here.

olive just had her last day of school on friday. it was sad to say good-bye to everyone at cornerstone, but she will be pen pals with her class this fall, so she's excited and looking forward to that. she is also at cornerstone for summer camp for three weeks in july, so she'll see many familiar faces.

brian has been working nonstop. he's either at the bakery or at radici almost every day. i know he's excited to have some time off as we transition to dc. he'll have a whole week, just he and olive, before i follow them down, and then we'll have another week to settle in and ready for new jobs, new schools and a new routine.

i'm still head-deep in school. this coming week are finals for my first set of summer courses, then july 1 starts the next round of summer courses. i've also been (slowly) packing up the house. my last day at baa is on tuesday. it's been five awesome years! but it'll be nice to not have a commute and, as i ready to become a teacher, to make the move to where i'll be student teaching.

a lot is happening.

july 2 brian and i will be driving down with all of our things and setting up our home in our new (and small) apartment. after that, it will be a three week adventure of having nothing but a bed in our house. luckily it's summer - the play set and sprinkler will be about all olive needs when not at summer camp and brian and i will be busy with work and school.

here are some pictures of what we've been up to lately....

car washing (getting it ready to sell)

as many family outings as possible

 making wishes in fountains

 saying good-bye to BAA

 olive's last day of school

works on parts of a frog and frog life cycle

learning about japan (and other countries *LittlePassports.com*)

bike rides on the new bike (getting ready for riding in the city)

learning about what lives by/in the ocean

and of course, lots of out door play!

... the one thing i wish is that we had more time. never enough of it! family and friends, i miss you!
