10 years later

It's hard to believe that Brian and I have been married TEN years! Where has the time gone? We've lived in Germany. Spent anniversaries in Holland, Austria and all over the States. Brian's been deployed to Kosovo and Iraq. We moved to DC and back. And now we have Olive. We've lived a lot and experienced so much in our ten years together. And I feel so lucky to be married to such an incredible man.

This morning we went to Kittery Point with Olive, where Brian asked me to marry him (well, two days before our wedding, he got down on one knee...), and walked along the beach.




Beautiful morning for the beach! Olive was ready to run right in to the water. Instead she ended up with wet boots and hands and a big smile on her face.

Tonight we are going to our Fore Street, in Portland, for dinner. I think we've spent a couple anniversaries there! We're so excited for a night out. Mom and Michael will be spending the night with Olive until we get home - then it's packing and taking off tomorrow afternoon for a week in Florida! Can't wait!
