2 month check up

We just got back from Olive's 2 month check up (she'll actually be 3 months on February 11th). She had four vaccinations today, one in liquid form and three shots. I couldn't watch, but she was a champ. She cried through them and then as soon as it was over she stopped screaming and just looked at Brian with her wide blue eyes.
She weighs 13 lbs 2 oz and she is 24 " long - so she gained 5 lbs and 3 1/4 inches. She's still in the 90th percentile though. Very healthy, and pretty I might add.

The weather has really put a damper on things lately. It's a lot more difficult to get out with her when its 20-below, snowing, or icy. All of which has been the case in the last few weeks. Wednesday was actually a snow day for both Brian and I. We braved the weather earlier in the morning and went to visit Jess, Strummer and Harlow for a little while, and then came back to hunker down, watch movies and catch up on some laundry. It'll be nice when the ice and snow have melted and it's at least 50 degrees out so we can walk in to town with Olive and hang out outside! Until then, Olive can stay bundled up in her Patagonia green fleece suit or her soft, fuzzy, bear jacket and her new striped hat.
